With the win, Gateway College Preparatory improves its record to 17-6 on the season. The Gators host Taylor (Taylor, TX) to encounter the Ducks in a 4A Region III District 24 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Ducks go into the battle with a record of 8-16. Taylor lost 3-1 in their recent league battle against Burnet (Burnet, TX)

The Badgers now own a 10-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marble Falls for a 4A Region III District 24 contest on Tuesday, September 23. Lampasas will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Salado (Salado, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-10.
