The Rice Consolidated Raiders volleyball squad (Altair, TX), dropped 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the host Hallettsville Brahmas (Hallettsville, TX)

The Brahmas (18-14) will now prepare for their contest against Palacios (Palacios, TX). The Sharks enter the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Palacios was beaten by Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Raiders meet the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Rice Consolidated will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Cobras go into the test with a 24-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Palacios (Palacios, TX).
