The Shepherd Pirates volleyball squad (Shepherd, TX), was defeated 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX)

With the win, Hargrave improves its record to 21-13 on the season. The Falcons host Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX) to encounter the Hawks in a 4A Region III District 19 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 24-9. Hardin-Jefferson lost 3-2 in their recent league challenge against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)

Next, the Pirates meet the Liberty Panthers (Liberty, TX) in a 4A Region III District 19 challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 21-12 record after their 3-2 league win over Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX).
