Texas High School Volleyball - Wakeland Highland Park

The Wakeland Wolverines volleyball squad (Frisco, TX), was defeated 3-1 in Friday's league battle with the host Highland Park Scots (Dallas, TX)

With the win, Highland Park improves its record to 26-8 on the season. The Scots travel to The Colony (The Colony, TX) to encounter the Cougars in a 5A Region II District 12 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 7-19. The Colony won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX)

Next, the Wolverines meet the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 12 contest, on Tuesday, September 23. Wakeland will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 7-20 record after their 3-0 league win over Turner (Carrollton, TX).
