The Incarnate Word Academy Angels (Corpus Christi, TX) volleyball knocked off the host Rockport-Fulton Pirates (Rockport, TX), 3-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Angels now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva for a bout on Tuesday, September 23. Incarnate Word Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over TMI-Episcopal (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-9.
With the loss, Rockport-Fulton drops to 13-9 on the campaign. The Pirates host Ingleside (Ingleside, TX) to encounter the Mustangs in a 4A Region IV District 30 battle on Friday, September 26. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 9-17.
