The Joshua Owls volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Seguin Cougars to 0 in the Owls league triumph on Friday.

The Owls now possess a 21-9 record. They play next when they travel to Centennial for a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, September 23. Joshua will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Everman (Everman, TX). The Spartans record now stands at 24-9.

With the loss, Seguin drops to 1-15 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Burleson (Burleson, TX) to clash with the Elks in a 5A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Elks come into the bout with a record of 11-14. Burleson won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
