Texas High School Volleyball - Lamar over Sam Houston

The Lamar Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sam Houston Texans to 0 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 15-15 record. They play next when they host Arlington for a 6A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, September 23. Lamar will clash with a Colts team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bowie (Arlington, TX). The Colts record now stands at 12-18.

With the loss, Sam Houston drops to 5-17 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to clash with the Gophers in a 6A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Gophers come into the bout with a record of 10-7.
