The New Boston Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Liberty-Eylau Leopards to 1 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Queen City for a 3A Region II District 14 outing on Tuesday, September 23. New Boston will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Liberty-Eylau drops to 5-11 on the campaign. The Leopards host Atlanta (Atlanta, TX) to play the Rabbits in a 3A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, September 23. The Rabbits go into the game with a record of 7-12. Atlanta lost 3-0 in their recent league game against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX)
