The Palo Verde Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting South Spartans to 1 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to 'Iolani for a non-league game on Friday, September 19. Palo Verde will confront a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kamehameha Kapalama (Honolulu, HI). The Raiders record now stands at 11-3.
The Spartans (20-7) will now prepare for their game against Papillion-LaVista South (Papillion, NE). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Papillion-LaVista South nipped Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 3-0, in a league outing.
