Arizona High School Volleyball - Thatcher can't hold off Red Mountain

In Friday's non-league match, the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) volleyball squad tipped the host Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Mountain Lions battle the Holbrook Roadrunners (Holbrook, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Red Mountain will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Roadrunners go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Winslow (Winslow, AZ).

The Eagles now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Safford for a 3A - South battle on Tuesday, September 23. Thatcher will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-6.
