In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Saint Viator Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rolling Meadows Mustangs.

The Lions (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings enter the East Suburban Catholic challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Benet Academy achieved victory over Fenwick (Oak Park, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maine West for a non-league test on Monday, September 22. Rolling Meadows will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 5-7.
