North Carolina High School Football - Brevard drops to Asheville

In Friday's non-league game, the Asheville Cougars (Asheville, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC), by a score of 28-0.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their game against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record.

The Blue Devils now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Erwin for a non-league game on Friday, September 9. Brevard will battle a Warriors team coming off a 33-12 non-league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
