The Elkton Golden Elks football squad scored 40 points and limited the host Rising Sun Tigers to 38 in the Golden Elks non-league win on Friday.

The Golden Elks now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Edgewood for a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Chesapeake battle on Friday, September 9. Elkton will play a Rams squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Rams record now stands at 2-0.
