The Pungo Christian Academy Raiders football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Mattamuskeet Lakers to 18 in the Raiders non-league win on Friday.

The Raiders now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Community Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Pungo Christian Academy will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 58-6 non-league loss to Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-2.

Coming up next, the Lakers play the Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, September 9. Mattamuskeet will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
