The East Columbus Gators volleyball team (Lake Waccamaw, NC), was nudged 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC)

The Trojans (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Laney was nudged by North Brunswick (Leland, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Gators meet the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 7. East Columbus will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
