The Coal City Coalers topped the visiting Addison Trail Blazers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Coalers now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity for a non-league test on Saturday, September 3. Coal City will confront a Blazers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Blazers record now stands at 0-5.

The Blazers (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Metea Valley gained a win over Oswego East (Oswego, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
