The Waldorf Thunder volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Beacon Academy Trailblazers to 1 in the Thunder league victory on Friday.

The Thunder now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wolcott School for a Lake Shore Athletic game on Wednesday, September 7. Waldorf will meet a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 league loss to British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 0-5.

The Trailblazers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Cruz (Chicago, IL). The Dragons enter the Lake Shore Athletic game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Cruz was nudged by ACERO Garcia (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
