The Rhinos (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Yellowjackets come into the 5A Region III District 19 battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Galena Park achieved victory over Sterling (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Apollos encounter the Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 battle, on Wednesday, September 7. Sharpstown will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Marlins come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Austin (Houston, TX).
