In Saturday's non-league game, the Naselle Comets (Naselle, WA) football team knocked off the host Quilcene Rangers (Quilcene, WA), by a final score of 66-40.

The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Ocosta (Westport, WA). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.

The Rangers now hold a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mossyrock for a non-league game on Friday, September 8. Quilcene will battle a Vikings team coming off a 26-8 non-league loss to Pe Ell/Willapa Valley (Menlo, WA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
