The Braxton County Eagles soccer team scored 8 points and limited the host Tyler Knights to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Eagles face the Grafton Bearcats (Grafton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Braxton County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Bearcats enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 6-1 league loss to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV).
The Knights now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madonna for a Ohio Valley Athletic Conference contest on Tuesday, September 5. Tyler will face a Blue Dons team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH). The Blue Dons record now stands at 2-3.
