The Preston Pirates softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Buffalo Valley Buffaloes to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Preston moves its record to 15-4 on the year. The Pirates host Mounds (Mounds, OK) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 9-13. Mounds lost 23-0 in their recent league test against Haskell (Haskell, OK)

The Buffaloes (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, OK). The Bulldogs come into the Class B test with a 9-6 record.
