Nebraska High School Softball - Fairbury topped by Freeman

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE), by a margin of 9-1.

With the triumph, Freeman moves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Malcolm (Malcolm, NE) to play the Clippers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 2. The Clippers come into the contest with a record of 3-8. Malcolm lost 5-1 in their recent non-league contest against Milford (Milford, NE)

In their next game, the Jeffs play the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. Fairbury will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record. The Broncos come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE).
