In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Malcolm Clippers softball team scored a close 6-4 win over the Lincoln Northwest Falcons.

Coming up next, the Clippers battle the Beatrice Orangemen (Beatrice, NE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 5. Malcolm will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Orangemen enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE).
