Warner Eagles (Warner, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stuart Hornets (Stuart, OK), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roland for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7.
With the loss, Stuart falls to 20-6 on the campaign. The Hornets host Caney (Caney, OK) to face the Cougars in a Class B challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Cougars enter the challenge with a record of 11-8. Caney won 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Colbert (Colbert, OK)
