Illinois High School Volleyball - Genoa-Kingston over Aquin Catholic

Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Aquin Catholic Bulldogs (Freeport, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cogs battle the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 5. Genoa-Kingston will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Broncos come into the match with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lyons (LaGrange, IL).

With the loss, Aquin Catholic drops to 3-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to battle the Broncos in a Northwest Upstate Illini match on Tuesday, September 5. The Broncos come into the match with a record of 5-3. Orangeville won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
