The Burgin Bulldogs topped the visiting Bath County Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs now have a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer County for a District 46 test on Tuesday, September 5. Burgin will confront a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Titans record now stands at 3-4.

The Wildcats (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers enter the District 61 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Fleming County gained a win over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY), 3-2, in a non-league test.
