The Simon Kenton Pioneers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Boone County Rebels to 1 in the Pioneers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Pioneers now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oldham County for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Simon Kenton will meet a Colonels team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Scott (Covington, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 6-2.

The Rebels (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars enter the District 33 game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Cooper nipped Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 3-1, in a non-league game.
