The Burlington Grayhounds volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Durant Wildcats to 1 in the Grayhounds non-league victory on Saturday.

The Grayhounds now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muscatine for a non-league game on Saturday, September 2. Burlington will meet a Muskies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA). The Muskies record now stands at 0-2.

The Wildcats (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Raiders enter the non-league game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, Williamsburg was nudged by Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
