The Northwood Panthers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Carroll County Cavaliers to 1 in the Panthers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Panthers now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host J.I. Burton for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Northwood will meet a Black Raiders team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 1-2.

The Cavaliers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars enter the Three Rivers game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Alleghany was nudged by Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
