The Oelwein Huskies volleyball team (Oelwein, IA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA)

The Wildcats (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Warriors enter the Tri-Rivers - Valley challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Calamus-Wheatland was nudged by Central City (Central City, IA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the Cascade Cougars (Cascade, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 2. Oelwein will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Anamosa (Anamosa, IA).
