The North Hopkins Panthers volleyball team (Sulphur Springs, TX), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX)

The Mustangs (22-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Hallsville nipped Nacogdoches (Nacogdoches, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. North Hopkins will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX).
