Iowa High School Volleyball - Grundy Center over Union

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Union Knights (La Porte City, IA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans face the AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA) in a North Iowa Cedar - West contest, on Tuesday, September 5. Grundy Center will attempt to better on its 14-0 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Union (La Porte City, IA).

With the loss, Union moves to 8-2 on the year. The Knights travel to North Tama (Traer, IA) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league contest on Sunday, September 3.
