With the win, Lauderdale County upgrades its record to 10-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

The Broncos now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Holly Pond will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Winston County (Double Springs, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
