The Latexo Tigers prevailed the host Trinity Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Latexo will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Coldspring-Oakhurst (Coldspring, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-6.

The Tigers (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Goodrich (Goodrich, TX). The Hornets enter the non-league test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Goodrich dropped by St. Joseph Catholic (Bryan, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
