Nevada High School Volleyball - Liberty over Moapa Valley

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Liberty Patriots (Henderson, NV) and the visiting Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV), saw Liberty's volleyball squad beat Moapa Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Patriots host Desert Oasis (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Diamondbacks in a 5A Southern - Mountain bout on Thursday, September 7. The Diamondbacks go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Desert Oasis won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rancho (Las Vegas, NV)

The Pirates now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Cheyenne for a 3A Southern - Desert bout on Wednesday, September 6. Moapa Valley will play a Desert Shields squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Desert Shields record now stands at 2-9.
