The Springville Orioles topped the visiting Midland Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's league test.

The Orioles now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oelwein for a non-league test on Saturday, September 2. Springville will confront a Huskies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-4.

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Central City (Central City, IA). The Wildcats enter the Tri-Rivers - Valley test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Central City gained a win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA), 3-1, in a league test.
