Arizona High School Volleyball - Peoria edged by Willow Canyon

The Willow Canyon Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Peoria Panthers to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Verrado for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 6. Willow Canyon will confront a Vipers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Vipers record now stands at 2-1.

The Panthers (0-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, St. Mary's held off Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league game.
