Match Summary
In the first game of pool play, Turner was the team to beat and faced Skyline. They made a quick set of the first one, winning 25-14, with hard finish hits by Dylann Barnwell and Addison Derrick, unbeatable serves by Grecia De La Garza and Sabrina Soto, and undeterred defense by Leila Farda. In the 2nd set, every team member saw court time and worked together, but fell short, almost catching back up after a quick lead by Skyline. Unfortunately they lacked time to catch up and lost 24-26. Going in to the 3rd and final set, to determine who would move into the championship game or the losers bracket, Turner took a quick lead and was determined to maintain it. They won the 3rd set 25-17, moving into the championship game.
