The Liberty Ranch Hawks flag football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Amador Buffaloes to 6 in the Hawks league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 5.

With the defeat, Amador drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Argonaut (Jackson, CA) to meet the Mustangs in a Sierra Valley Conference test on Monday, September 16. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 0-0.
