With the win, Kempsville improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Chiefs host Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Marlins now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Salem for a Beach test on Thursday, September 4. Bayside will face a Sundevils squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils record now stands at 0-2.
