The Copper Hills Grizzlies soccer squad scored 7 points and held the visiting Salt Lake Academy Griffins to 1 in the Grizzlies league win on Tuesday.
Next, the Grizzlies face the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) in a 6A Region 2 game, on Thursday, September 4. Copper Hills will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Sentinels enter the game with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 league win over Riverton (Riverton, UT).
The Griffins (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Riverton (Riverton, UT). The Silverwolves enter the 6A Region 2 game with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Riverton was overwhelmed by Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT), 2-1, in a league bout.
