The Hillcrest Huskies soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Granger Lancers to 1 in the Huskies league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cyprus for a 5A Region 4 game on Thursday, September 4. Hillcrest will face a Pirates team coming off a 5-0 league win over Hunter (West Valley City, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 4-3.

The Lancers (3-6) will now prepare for their game against West Jordan (West Jordan, UT). The Jaguars come into the 5A Region 4 game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, West Jordan edged West (Salt Lake City, UT), 2-1, in a league game.
