In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mason County Royals volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Lewis County Lions.
With the win, Mason County improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Royals host East Carter (Grayson, KY) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Lions now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Russell for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Lewis County will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-0.
