Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Mendocino Cardinals (Mendocino, CA) and the visiting Tomales Braves (Tomales, CA), observed Mendocino's volleyball team top Tomales by a count of 2-0.

The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Potter Valley (Potter Valley, CA). The Bearcats enter the battle with a 0-1 record.

The Braves now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Valley for a battle on Thursday, September 4.
