In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host West Stanly Colts volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Monroe Redhawks.

The Colts (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern Randolph beat Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Redhawks now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anson for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Monroe will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-2.
