In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Patton Panthers.

With the win, R-S Central advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a test on Thursday, September 4. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 3-3. East Burke lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC)

Next, the Panthers play the West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the game with a 4-4 record after their 2-1 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
