Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC) fans went home happy Tuesday as they saw their soccer squad prevail over the visiting IC Imagine Kingfishers (Asheville, NC), 4-0 in a non-league outing.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders enter the Smoky Mountain 1A/2A outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Highlands by Franklin (Franklin, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Kingfishers confront the Mount Pisgah Academy Mountaineers (Candler, NC) in a test, on Tuesday, September 9. IC Imagine will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 2-2 non-league Asheville Trailblazers (Asheville, NC).
