With the triumph, Shining Light Academy moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Community Baptist (Reidsville, NC) to meet the Conquerors in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. The Conquerors come into the test with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cougar confront the Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCCSA A District 3 - East Region outing, on Friday, September 5. Calvary Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC).
