Nevada High School Soccer - Sunrise Mountain knocks off Chaparral

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Sunrise Mountain Miners soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Chaparral Cowboys.
The Miners (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Legacy got by Somerset Sky Pointe (Las Vegas, NV), 8-0, in a league test.
The Cowboys now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bonanza for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Chaparral will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Vegas, NV). The Bengals record now stands at 1-1.
