With the triumph, Cooper improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Jaguars host Covington Catholic (Park Hills, KY) to confront the Colonels in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Colonels go into the outing with a record of 4-3. Covington Catholic won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Boone County (Florence, KY)

Next up, the Thoroughbreds confront the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Newport Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN).
